Camp Life! is an organization that holds weekend retreats throughout the year for children who have lost loved ones in the military. I have been a part of Camp Life! for about two years, and it is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever been involved in. During these retreats, we have many fun activities such as water skiing, arts and crafts, zip-lining, ropes courses, field sports, and scavenger hunts to give these kids a chance to just let loose and have fun.
Retreats are held in May at Pine Cove near Dallas, Texas, in August at Sky Ranch near Tyler, Texas, and in November at Camp Buckner in Burnet, Texas.
